Okay so I got on the forum to get a second opinion on my Aphonopelma seemanni. I bought her from a breeder who quit in about February she looked well fed (nice and chunky) and was fine. Fast forward to now her abdomen has gotten even larger and she's become aggressive and looks like shes digging a small hole away from her burrow and adding webbing every night. She went through a molt just a couple weeks before she started these behaviors. I thought of the possibility she may be gravid and the breeder didn't realise it. so I shown a light to her abdomen and couldn't see anything very well (flashlight wasnt to bright). Does this seem like gravid female behavior for Aphonopelma seemanni? I couldn't find anything on them so I figure I'd try here.

There's no picture. We need pictures. ;)

But if she just recently moulted she won't be gravid.

Sounds like its pregnant, but as she moulted the eggs cant be fertilized, but she will make an eggsack anyways. Just leave it in there, but they usally will rot after some weeks
