Hi,
Today I caught a grasshopper the size of a huge cricket near my house (Montreal). I thought that this grasshopper could add a new flavor to my hungry Black Fat Tail ( He ate 6 crikets in 6 days ). The only problem is that grasshoppers spit a brown liquid when they are under attack, and i was wondering if it can hurts my scorp.

Thanx
Xavier

Thanx dude,

that's funny i got a black fat tail and a parabuthus liosoma just like you. I also owned a hottentotta trilineatus and an emp in the past but they died...they were pretty old.

My two cents The liquid the grasshopper spits up is hm basicly 'puking' its digested plant bits aka his dinner ;)

I wont give the grasshopper to my p. liosoma cause she's pregnant and she's not eating a lot and i'll wait a little for my black fat tail cause he ate 8 crickets in 14 days and the grasshopper is about the same size. So i dont think he would want to eat a meal that big for now.

she's about 4'' from head to sting and well about 1.5'' wide.
But i'm not really sure she's gravid cause i red a post on this forum from a guy who thought is p.liosoma was gravid because her belly was like a golf ball but after a month she only molt.
