Got this baby as a trade from Warren Burke (wburke17) a few weeks ago on one of our Southern California hike/hunts.

Such a docile species, very friendlly and easy to work with.

Nice pictures but if I were you I'd try getting a lightsource pointing at the tarantula from the side of the cameraposition so you dont get a dark front pic and light backpic I hope you understand what I mean.

that's what I thought you meant.

What I'd really like is a full ring of light around my subject. But that wouldn't allow for a backdrop.
