Hi folks,
Does anyone have molt records of Grammostola Aureostriata from say 2nd instar to the 3 to 4 inch range , both male and female? I have three spiderlings that are all molting one day from each other. I would guess they are all the same sex. Do these grow as slow as the G. Pulkra? They are in slowwww motion.
Thanks,

Bob

I don't have a Grammostola aureostriata, but from everything I see in the other Grammostola species the above mentioned one is likely to be just as slow to grow. I do have sling G.rosea and G.pulchra and they are unbelieveable slow. I feel it come down to their being a desert species as several of my Aphonopelma species that came from desert areas are growing just as slow. Look on the broght side, Even if the spider is a male, at the rate he grows you'll have many years before he matures and wants to wander
