good resident?

decided to do a new concept.. who is the right scorps to be resident?
1. Leiurus quinquestriatus
2. Hottentotta hottentotta

left side: basically, beach sand.
right side: a mixture of river sand and potting soil.

I'd say H.hottentotta anyway, because unless that soil is dry, the enclosure would be a bit too humid for an LQ.

Agreeing with Michiel, I would say Hottentotta, too. However, I have heard beach sand can be dangerous because it may contain too much salt. You may want to look in to that.:)

I'll have to package and sell the beach sand on our great lakes.
Salt Free :)

hmmmmm regarding salt, did some washing, do washing do the trick?

the soil/river sand mix is dry.

Looks good in my opinion. Not trying to pester you about this but just experiment with the beach sand and see if it causes a problem. We would like to know of your experience. Again, looks good.:)
