I have a trio of adult glow spot roaches, 1 male and 2 females. They all matured in the last month. I am thinking of selling them, but I do not know what to sell them for. I have not seen adults sell in the past. I gave 25.00 for the 3 when they were medium sized nymphs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

8.00, really? I have seen unsexed sub-adults selling on this board for 12.00 each.

I paid $12ea from James when I bought my initial group of 10... I think that $40 + s/h would be more than fair for a young adult 1.2 trio.... They are still a rare roach...pictures don't do them justice.

there is no set value in bugworld

really... there is no set value to anything... it is just when there are tons of things being sold and tons being bought the market settles on a medium between what buyers are willing to spend and what sellers are willing/want to take

i really need to do a little write up for this

basically the higher you set a price as a seller, the longer it will take for you to find a buyer. too high of a price and it will take you thousands or millions of years (my way of saying you won't get a buyer). conversely, the lower you set the price the faster your whatever will sell, all things being equal.

as a buyer... the lower you are willing to spend means you have to wait and look and search and wait. too low of a floor to your price and you will have to wait thousands or millions of years to find your deal. converse is also true.

hehehe. clouded it up for you, i expect =P

one thing you can do (and i have done it before) is to google whatever you are in the market for and see what current prices can be found. that gives you an idea of what a "average" case might be. generally, dealers have higher prices than dedicated hobbyists. generally WC are cheaper than equivalent CB. there are maybe a few more generalities but i can't think of any real good short sweet ones off hand.

like i said... i need to write an article.

nothing at all is worth a set amount. What ever you will take for them is what they are worth to you. What I would give for them is what they are worth to me.
What you gave for them is irrelevant. Sometimes we give more than we will ever hope to get back for something. If I buy gold now , I would be hard pressed to get 900 per oz for it when it drops to 200 per oz again lol
at any rate, set the price based on what you would like for them and settle for what you would take if no one wants to give what you would like lol
in other words, if the least you would take is 8 bucks each but would like to get 12 then ask 12, and if they dont sell you can still go down.
