I currently have a 2 inch sling in one of Jamies' juvenile enclosures. When this little guy grows up, would he/she do better in Jamies' 8x8x14 or 10x10x20? Or would either of them be fine?

10×10×20 is fitting for an large adult female. Smaller specimens should have smaller enclosures. One have to eyeball it!

I wouldn't use either of them, at least not in the orientation those dimensions suggest. A GBB is a terrestrial species that can do with a little bit more height than other terrestrial Ts, but it's still a terrestrial and not an arboreal.
The 8x8x14 (if you put it vertically) seems like an okay-size. The container I have my adult female in is about 10x14x8 and she has plenty of space. :)

I had a adult female in 16×12×16 inch terrarium. I had a small bush inside and she was very happy. She never burrowed, but she willingly webbed alot and made a silken tube among the twigs in the bush
