Mine sort of seemed to try, but gave up cuz the soil wasnt really good for it.

Neither of ours show any burrowing habits.

As a rule, they do not burrow. They're mainly a wandering species in the wild which hunkers down in whatever shelter they can during the day. As such, while they may burrow as small slings, most adults will just hang out and do nothing.

As with anything, there are exceptions to the rule. Mine dug an amazing burrow, and stays there almost all the time..

my male rosey used to try but never really succeed'd now he spends most of his time trying to escape as you can tell he is a mature male-jason

Mine just stays out in the open, not bothering to use its cork hide.
