This female was mated with a male from Looseyfur. This will be her second eggsack in my care. The first was from a mating with my male, but it dried out. I've added a fairly expensive and powerful humidifier to my spider-room, so we'll see how this one turns out. Looseyfur's male has also mated with my second G. rosea female... on more than one occasion, so we'll see how that turns out. He is such a good breeder, I'm considering picking up a third female from a local pet store, just to keep him working.

JDK,

One thing is for sure... Arachnopets will have another guessing game.

Bryan,

Thanks for the heads up... do you think I should pull the sack from her once she makes it?

Well only if you can turn or stirr the eggs.
i would wait 20--25 days then take it.

Best of luck Botar. The hobby could certainly benefit from more c/b rosies. (overcollecting-in-the-wild issues and all)

I'm hoping for a couple rosie eggsac someday as well. Who knows though. It's been ages since I mated 3 red phase females with 2 red phase males. Got some really fat females but like I said, it's been ages....who knows.

Got my fingers crossed for ya.
