These two chunky bodies were about as cool and collective as it gets since I got them earlier this week. But today BOTH decided to act out on me. The 3.5" inch decides to rear up on the tongs while I was removing the nice tidy clump of old food she stashed in the corner of her tank.

And the big momma 4.5" decides to attack the water I was putting in her dish. How quickly their temperament can change on you. And they don't move like slow fat ladies either. They like to scurry about when disturbed. lol

I think they dream of being an OBT someday.

Probably the only T i have that got me. :evil:

It happened when I was holding her. It was a chew type bite not the pouncing type bite. These are psychotic t;s I tell ya

My girl has been feisty since day 1, and I wouldn't have her any other way. =)

Yep, sounds just like the rosea I know and love. I've stopped recommending them as a good 1st tarantula although everyone should have at least 1 for the giggle factor. {D
