My chaco sling instead of her (positive thinking) normal pink legs and carapace today I noticed she was really black. I was going to feed her and decided not to thinking the darker color means shes about to molt. Is she about to molt??

It normally has a black abdomen with pink legs and carapace. Today as I was going to feed her I noticed her whole body to be much darker making me think she may be in premolt. The first molt I experienced with her was the first week in march.

Update

She molted this morning and is white as I write this. Everything went fine as far as I can tell I just peeked in for a second I wouldnt dare want to disturb her. When I wake up this afternoon I hope to sneak her molt out of her enclosure.

I have been calling it a her but I have to admit those new legs sure do look long for a girl I guess I will know when is big enough to sex.
