Two days ago, i found a dead cricket with a furry dandelion looking thing next to it. when i moved it around, the hairs stuck together, kind of like silk. My A. Versicolor hangs out in his web on top of the tank, he never goes on the substrate. So i took the furry thing out. The next day i found another one, but this time when i took it out and examined it, there was a hard pink inside. What the hell are these? they are not alive, they just show up randomly.

Sounds like either some type of mold or possibly some type of mushroom/toadstool starting to emerge. Hard to say without pic. Keep yanking it out. You may want to get rid of at least all the top layer if not all of it.

I really need a picture to tell you for sure if you are OK. There are many different kinds of mold. Some molds are OK, others can kill your T.

Hard and pink?
Maybe a type of mold. Or just the remains of the cricket caused spot mold to form. But as mentioned a picture would be helpful in figuring out what it might be.
