My son is keeping a small male wolf spider (3/4" legspan) of some sort he found outside. We feed him 1/4" crickets. Yesterday we dropped a cricket in. When the spider saw it, he charged and tackled the cricket so hard he ended up on his back with the cricket on top. He stayed on his back for about 10 seconds and then flipped back over.

I have a wolf spider that I rescued from a car wash bucket back in Oct. 05.
She has about a 4" legspan, and keeps those legs out straight all the time! She just molted, and has been eating like crazy! They can be really funny when they attack food! I love watching them! They never know when they will get their next meal, so they are usually pretty excitable
