I read in the paper from the AP.. that there is a fungus that is killing 1000's of frogs and has caused 120 species to go extinct in and around south and central america.
The fungus prevents oxygen from getting into their skin, and it suffocates them.
Please be aware of this, and also let others know.

This fungus is dangerous to captive/domestic frogs in your aquariums also. Especially the smaller ones... ACFs and ADFs... so ALWAYS quarantine new animals strictly and for at least 2 months (the Chytrid fungus will manifest itself in a time frame of 2 months, if the frog has been exposed).

And if you know for certain that your little ones have it, there is a medication cycle that you can run on them to help them... possibly even save them. I have the info, if you'd like to see it. It is lengthy, but if you love your frogs... well worth the read.

Agreed, this is a real issue for any keepers of amphibians.
