My 2'' Lasiodora parahybana just molted, and like 1-2 hours later I see it(unknown sex) using it's fangs to chew up the molt.
Questions:
1.Should it be using it's fangs right after molting?
2.Why exactly is it chewing the molt?
3.Should I remove the molt?
Also, i'm not sure if this is the right section for this topic, but didn't see other sections besides this one close to the topic.
Thanks

Small Ts hardens more fast than adult does, so the fangs could be hard enough to chew the soft exuvia.

She is chewing it to recover some fluids that are released during the molting process. If you see a fresh exuvia you can see moisture on it.

The T will discard the exuvia by itself. If some time after you see the exuvia and you don't stress the T, you can remove it carefully.

I thought my Ts were the only ones. It makes it hard for me to recover fresh molts and I worry about them hurting their fangs....
