This very little and very calm guy appeared on my window this evening. This one measured only around 4mm, so it’s a juvenile. My country has 41 different JS species, and it occured to me that I’ve never actually seen a wild one before for some reason. I was lucky enough today to find one and even capture it. Unluckily this one was in quite thin condition, so it has either molted previously or just hasn’t found enough food in my room. After I got a good look at it I took it outside to an ideal jumping spider spot where I found it would get much prey and I eventually let it go. I’m not an expert in jumping spiders, so would anyone else know which species this might be? DSC_0016.jpeg DSC_0014.jpeg

Well, it is definitely a jumper! Next thing we need to sherlock, is local jumpers. Then we will get closer to indentification. FC2CDB09-6787-41D6-BF6D-A6DED9B40ED4.jpeg
