Ines, I wish I could find tarantulas here in TN... The closest we get here are the big fishing spiders and I'm always unprepared for them and even if I was they run like faster than the devil.
I'm going to guess it's a Lasiodora difficillus.

...must be nice there in invert paradise. Yeah there are plenty of critters here but it's hard to match what one can find there in the tropics...
