I just saw a flying bug in my Emp tank! I kinda scared. Do mites fly? I might have a feeling it's because of the mold on the wooden hides. I tried to take it off!

Mites do not fly. it may just be a parasitic wasp which only lays its eggs in something like a cricket or caterpillar. i do not think you should worry, but seek more advice, i might be wrong.

I suspect fungus gnats. They are tiny black flys that reproduce in moist soil. They can be a problem for plants, as the larvae like to eat fine root tips, but I doubt they could harm your scorpions.

you know i think i've seen the same things before in a container of crickets i bought once, i hadn't noticed till i had brought it home and inspected them. there were like one or two of the flys but several little maggoty looking things.
