Florida Ivory molting?

My florida ivory hasn't come up in over a month. I had to change the substrate a month ago and he went down under the new stuff. He hasn't come up since. The tank doesn't have a smell to it. Is he just molting?

Maybe he is just enjoying the new substrate. Mine often do that. I don't know why but maybe they are just getting used to it or possibly the moisture level is higher and it prompted a molt? In any event, be patient and don't dig!

Yeah I wouldn't worry yet. My ivories all went under for molts shortly after I brought them home and two were under for like 6 weeks and then came out HUGE.

You need a couple more so you have a better chance at one always being topside. o_O
