Oops, posted before I read the whole thread... Congrats on your new sling! I will definitely keep that bag method in mind for future reference.
Although it hasn't darted yet, normal walking pace is still pretty fast {D

Congrats on the new sling! :D a little late... But I found my salmon pink was fast/reluctant to go into his new home, so I used a dull object (i think it was a paintbrush handle) like a "prod" to gently push him off the paper towel. barely touched him, but it was just enough to let him know something was behind him. Probably not so good for and obt, because he might take it and shank u with it... But for slower spiders....

I currently have a bunch of OBTs and owned several very successful pairs, they're a bunch of fun! One of my fav species. When they get bigger they become a little more exciting to transfer etc but you get to know them and so it gets easier to predict

congrats on the new sling, they're hard as nails and grow like weeds so look forward to it!
