Finding Scorpions in Israel

Hello,
Im very interested in scorpions of Israel, especially Scorpio maurus. Could someone tell me where can i found it, when is the best time to look for them, and how rare are they to be found in the wild?

I would try walking around after dark with a black light. Be careful of snakes though since they won't glow. You can also try carefully flipping rocks and debris during the day. I'm not sure if S. maurus is a species that uses burrows.
