I have a 4 inch female emperor scorpion who is very active. This is my first scorpion so I dont know a whole lot about them. She always seems to be trying to climb the sides of the glass aquarium. She isnt able to climb the surface but she tries non stop. She usually gives up for a while and retreats to her hide for a couple hours.

Afterwards she will come out and try again.

Is this normal?

Ok thanks. She doesnt seem to be good at hunting crickets compared to my tarantulas. Should I prekill and place them near her hide?

I usually take the back legs off the crickets before I toss them in.
Find it helps to get them eaten quicker.
