Wow nice pics Alonso,
Did you dig her out or did she decide to just come out. Mine loves to stay underground.

(just kidding! don't try this at home, folks!)

This one was a sweetheart, too! Sadly he is now departed for that great burrow in the sky . . . which sounds kind of like a mixed metaphor now I think of it!

So I've heard. The two I have had were both small--only 4-5". They look pretty tiny next to a full-grown C. crawshay female!

Is it louder than an Usambara? My largest one "hisses" by moving it's fangs against the hairs near it's mouth. Certainly not very loud, but enough to hear.

Hey

The hissing is pretty audible, I have not heard an usumbara hiss so I cannot compare them. my guess the king baboon is louder because of the size

Hiya,
I'd take a pic of my rosie, but my digital camera isn't of real good quality. It seems mine is caught between being ambivalent or mean. She raises the right side of her body up, leaving the left down. *lol*

Thats a beauty. Does she stay burrowed up like most cobalts?

Yes. The only reason I got a picture of her that time was because I was moving her to a bigger tank. But I do get to see her beautiful blue front legs in the evening hours sometimes, as she sits waiting at her burrow mouth :)
