I have hissers but there exoskeleton is way to rough for the slings. Should i cut a nymph baby roach in half or should i just go buy pinheads. Thanks

A nymph cut in half could work, just try, and leave it there overnight. If the slings don't take it, you can always get pinheads.

Dubias or Lats are much better choice for feeders. But cutting nymph hissers in half works too i guess. I used hissers to feed friends monitors and kingiis

Hi Mike,
1" slings might do well on the cut up hisser nymphs but the tiny slings under 1" will do better on very small softer prey items.

I have fed my 1/2" Hapalopus sp. "Columbia" small sling weekish old hisser nymphs. Well 2 anyway. I have to pinch their heads first or it drags them all over the cup. It didn't seem to have an issue eating it. But I have Elliptorhina javanica so they are probably smaller than the common genus.
