feeding question

How to feed spider (tegenaria atrica) inside this enclosure ? spider is in upper part inside web funnel .
was trying to feed her grasshopper ( siting on background thingy ) .
She ignores it even if i put it near funnel . When i will get crickets , where to put them so she eat them ?

Just toss it in. When the spider gets hungry, she will come out looking for food - or at least grab any food that lands in her web.

Funnel weavers tend to be pretty shy around people and will retreat into their webs when you are around - even if you are poking tasty treats in her face. Also, they are most active at night. Bright lights + people means she's more interested in hiding than in eating. Once the lights go down and everything's quiet, then she'll be more likely to emerge and eat. I'd just leave the (live) grasshopper or cricket in there and eventually it will find its way into her web - and she'll be waiting.
