Feeding june bugs to isopods?

I have P scaber that in particular love eating mealworms. All my isopods love shrimp Shell and all. So. Im wondering. Maybe they would enjoy eating these beetles? I’m tempted to boil them for 10-20 minutes, bake to dry. That should kill any parasites.

any of you feed june bugs to your pets? Tips? Tricks?

I've Never tried it. And don't think I would for the same reason I wouldn't feed a tarantula wild caught crickets / bugs : parasites / pesticides / etc.

I'd imagine they'd go for it. I've fed off dead super worm beetles to my isopods and they clean it down to the shell. I'd be worried about parasites and pesticides, but if your isopods are wild caught, they're already exposed to that stuff.

I guess it depends on whether or not you’re willing to take the risk. Also, they’d probably leave a lot behind (such as the wings and other parts they can’t digest). That being said isopods are opportunistic feeders so they probably would eat it.
