You don't have to. You can try, it won't harm her or the Egg sac but within 4 weeks they hatch and she can do worse.
I bred loads of H. venatorias and currently h. sp. thaicave. They carry the Egg sac 24/7 around and refuse to eat. A davidbowie just sits there.

She would not have built an egg sack if hungry, there is no need to feed.
My labidognaths only kill the prey and simply leave it lying there in such a situation.

Heteropoda is a prime example of species survival. Their appetite shuts off completely when gestation occurs and stays off until after dispersal. BTW the egg sack is clamped in her chelicerae.

I knew some salticids will eat while guarding a sac, good to know some/most sparassids will not.

Thanks,
