Feeding burrowing spider

well, will i have to lift up the log to remove cricketremains? or will the T do it itself? dont want mold or parasites or whatever to infest my spiders home..

Most of the time, a burrowing tarantula will bring the remains out of it's burrow. It will basically be a little hard "spitball" or bolus. What you should do is invest in a large, 8 to 12", set of tweezers to use to remove any remains that the T does not bring out. The only thing you have to worry about really are crickets that just die in the burrow as these will not be removed by the T.

Hmmmm, my little burrowers must be really lazy, as I'm always having to go after cricket remains and exuvias. Only rarely do the bring things up
