feeding after molting..

i fed my tarantula honeybees one day after it has molted.. im very worried about it's fangs.. maybe too soft.. if damaged.. he may lose its fangs.. :( any thoughts? my marshalli is about an inch

Why did you hurry to feed it ? :? You know it can cause damage on its fangs and you worry about it. :embarrassed:

But considering its size, l think there will be nothing or less damage.
Conclusion; don't do it again. ;)

lesson learned... sometimes its js so tempting to put a roach in there... it's so much fun how it drags its prey down into its hole.. but yeah.. never again..

You couldn't have done anything more wrong if you tried:8o

Just for the record, in addition to the molt thing, don't try to feed your spiders something that can significantly defend itself, just in case.

watering near mouth

his mouth seems to be driping wid something clear.. i hope its not the fangs.. cant see well inside the burrow if the fangs are black already.. will check again in couple of hours..
