Hello!

I am planning on starting a colony of Ectrichodia distinctus - the millipede assassin bug.

Since I'm planning on keeping the colony alive and well, I'll need a steady supply of millipedes to use as feeders for these little guys

So, my question is - what species of millipede is overall the easiest to keep and breed? Would probably have to start with a larger colony to meet the demand and have the colony reproduce enough to survive for long.

Any information will be appreciated!

Bumblebee and Scarlet millipedes, both of which can be found quite commonly in florida but breed like nobody’s business

Wild caught adults are super easy to get babies from but growing those babies to mature specimens not so much. I have consecutive bumblebee stock from 2004 so I'm not spitballing. They also grow surprisingly slow for small they get.
