This enclosure was made of recycled parts. The glass door came from a broken scanner. The main structure is a Styrofoam chest, the handle is a burnt-out ZooMed Nano LED, and the hinge is twine and skewers. This cage houses my Brunneria borealis mantises communally, and it has been much better than the previous tanks I tried since the nymphs are able to climb all parts of this tank easily. I am currently working to build more of this type of enclosure with the water-resistant, construction form of Styrofoam. I am hoping to construct a whole wall of these tanks that will allow me to raise a lot more mantids.
