I think nitidus. I purchased them as some obscure Rhopalurus species. I was told by some of the more knowledable hobbiest here that it was more than likely C nitidus. When i got them I knew the species could be wrong. I figured what ever it was it would be uncommon here.

Hi,

On top of that: I told the guy that sold you that "Rhopalurus species" that it was a Centruroides species, before he sold it to you as "Rhopalurus species".
I also explained to him, why I could easily see that it wasn't a Rhopalurus.
There is a but. The large females of C.nitidus do not look like females at all (in general), they have short, stocky metasomal segments and "bulky chela", so when I first unpacked these, I was also surprised, because I had never seen that type of sexual dimorphism in Centruroides.

Enough about that. C.bani is similar to C.nitidus, but is not in the EU hobby circuit yet I think.

Hadrurus arizonensis

A series:

If you couldn't tell what happened, neither of the two who were fighting for the cricket got to eat it. The little male stole it.

Some pretty ridiculous shots so far
Nice sequence, Anubis, and funny ending too.
