fat tail gecko question

ok i have had this female fat tail gecko for about 9 months...she is very sweet and docile, but she will not eat...in the period i have had her, i have seen her eat 2 crickets..and her tail was really fat, but now its down to half the size...i have tried crickets, dubia, latteralis, mealworms...she just completely doesnt seem interested in anything...any ideas? thanks

What time do you try to feed her? I would try putting the feeders in at night before you go to bed and then remove them in the morning.

Have you noticed any problems with her jaws? Has she used pooped in your care.

i try feeding her at night...i can throw in some crickets, mealworms, roaches, whichever i choose, and she wont touch them, they just stay in there til the die....

yeah she has a good sized water dish, and a moist hide, and a half a coconut hide on the hot side, and ive seen her drinking numerous times...

I assume she's got a water dish?

no her jaws seem absolutely fine...only bad thing about her is evidentily before i got her, her tail had been pulled off, and regrown, so it looks like a big blob, but now its half the size..........and yeah she has been pooping if thats what you meant

ive pretty much given up on her...i mean i still give her food, and water, and keep her hot side about 92-95, and keep her moist hide sprayed down..i almost never at all see her out of her moist hide either...i mean its sad, she is absolutely gorgeous, and so gentle, but i mean its her choice either eat or die...i preferably would eat...i dunno whats going to happen to her...i have even tried putting her inside my mealworm tub for a few minutes, or inside my cricket tub, and if that was one of my leopards i did that with, they would be in paradise...

ok here is a couple before and after pics....i mean her tail isnt horrible yet...but the first pic is the day i got her, and the second is today...i tried hand feeding her a broke open cricket, and she didnt care.....she is so gorgeous and super gentle...but i am almost debating doing a trade with someone who has more time, and is into geckos more than me, and is willing to do what they have to and spend the time to get her to eat. so if anyone is interested in her...pitch me a pm with some trade offers, and you might have something im interested in....
