I recently obtained a Selenops sp. ‘flatty’ or ‘wall spider’. I know the basics of care due to a couple of friends of mine who have kept them. It is eating, has molted once in my care, and seems to be doing well. I see it a lot, either perched on the walls/ceiling of the enclosure or on the selenite crystal you see in the photo. Really interesting look to these spiders. Have any of you kept these? If so, what has been your experience with them? Has anyone bred them?

It seems to perch a lot on the selenite crystal in its enclosure, which helps its pattern to stand out.

Be careful with getting selenite wet since it can dissolve from water, pretty nice spider tho
