Here are my latest additions as of last night. I was only gonna get the one, but I couldn't leave the other there, they were looking so sad on wood shavings. Also these were taken about 10am. What color morphs are they?
This one maybe a dalmation of some sort, also missing the tail
She? didn't want to take photo's so that's it for her.
This may be a young male(hopefully) with tail
Also, since I don't want to make a 4th pic thread in 1 day I'll add these guys in here too...
A Green anole, and a bahama anole. The bahama is a male, the green may be female, but not planning on breeding them. She actually has a broken leg, looks like someone was munching on it and she doesn't use it, but gets around fine, She also just molted, but had problems getting it off that leg, I had to help
just the bahama, he's kinda skinny, but is now being well fed.
She loves this plant and only leaves to eat
Ok back to the crested, I saw a website about calcium deposits, and how to check inside their mouths for it. I checked the dalmatianish one, and only has a tiny speck on one side, didn't even bother to check the other, But I've got the crested gecko diet powder stuff, and I shake n baked about 2 dozen sm crickets with it, the tailless one ate most of them, I only saw the guy eat like 2-3. I also mixed some power with water like it said, and he dove into that right away, he had his front legs and face in it licking it up like crazy, He looks much better this morning, was looking a little on the skinny side last night.
They were housed with a few leo's and NO powder/powder mix at all, the only food was a bunch of already dead meal worms(petco feeds them to all their reptiles it seems). So question is, do I just continue with this good diet, or is there something else I can do to boost their calcium? gonna pick up some baby food tonight, any special brands/different fruits they like best?
