Because of storm damage,I 've had to chainsaw up a large eucalyptus tree in my garden. There are some exellent shaped branches.I'm not aware of any toxicity to snakes from eucalyptus, but if anybody is,I'd be grateful to hear, before using it for my Burm. TY in advance :)

I am also unaware of any specific danger to snakes. That being said, eucalyptus is actually a generally quite toxic plant. Whether your snake (which doesn't consume it) would suffer or not is something I would not want to test.

Cheers,
Dave

well I will put I disclaimer telling you *do what you want*, but I had a eucalyptus tree branch in my boa constrictors cage for over a year with no ill effects observed.. I would say go for it, but make your own decisions :).. good luck

I have eucalyptus branches in my mamba cages, and they are also doing fine.

You can try it, but its your choice.

I know the branches are safe for birds, but the leaves are toxic though.

My Mom puts the branches in for her cockatoo, so far it hasn't hurt him
