Euathlus sp red spot spinnerets

I got a Euathlus sp red yesterday, female juvenile. today i noticed a spot around her spinnerets. i don't know if its supposed to be there or not.
It looks slightly different, reddish.

Are you talking about the space around the spinnerets? If you are it is just the part where the spinnerets sit. Almost all NW tarantulas have this. You Ts abdomen is fairly plump so it makes it a bit more noticable.

Dont worry your T is healthy. That is the place where the spinnerets sit naturally. The hair around them grows longer than other sp.

@Robyn8 I don't think anyone really understands what you asked, I could be wrong.

E sp Red has the unique matching red/orange color there, normal, see below for mine. It always shows up as an outline if you will, matches the color on the abdomen, yours is fine.

Thanks @viper69 the last pic is exacly what i meant. mine has quite a big butt it seems. Though I can't tell of she's in premolt.
