So my juvenile Avic. Sp. (Ladyslipper) escaped yesterday. it was my fault.
My six year old sister was in my room, and I was trying to kick her out so I could do homework, and hit the desk, HARD. :8o
it knocked the cage off and broke it. luckily she(he?) was unharmed, but she ran for the exit before I could grab her.
only room in the house that wasn't desert dry and at least 90degrees was mine so I was terrified she'd cook or die of dehyration before i found her.
LUCKILY! I found herin the kitchen, in a mixing bowl, ten hours later, dehydrated BUT alive.
Currently she's in a critter keeper that's just meh. I"ll rehouse her here soon though into something better.
