Epiandrous Fusillae Sexing Here...

Hi all,

Below is an example of one of the more easier species to sex via
examination of the "epiandrous fusillae". as you see, female on the left, subadult male on the right...you can visably see the difference with the naked eye and the dark half circle on the male is the epiandrous fusillae. and when looked at more closely with a little lighted magnifacation, you can see that the dark patch of hairs are are actually shorter and more dense than the surrounding setae (hair). keep in mind, other species will be different. this will at least give you an sense of what to be looking for, for at least this sp.
