Okay, i thought it discovered the burrow, but no, huddeld up at the side. Could it be i gave it an enclosure that is still to large? The dimensions of the cage are 30x20x20, the spider is 5cm dls. I was thinking it could use a bigger enclosure since it is a burrower, but maybe there is too much floorspace? Or does it just need more time to settle?

It probably just needs a bit more time. When I rehoused mine, it spent several days clinging to the wall. Then one day it was no longer on the wall, but had excavated a nice burrow. I can't see having extra room being a problem with it settling in. That just means it has plenty of room to tunnel.

Thank you for the swift reply!
That was my intention as well, so it could dig to its hearts desire :)
Thank you for the confirmation!

Put it somewhere quiet, leave alone for 24-48 hrs and check afterwards. Once they feel like it, they'll start digging. Also, not a jewel of information, but I hope those bits help. My girl still shows up every evening/night with at least her front legs sticking out of her hide. Less often, but still often enough, she's taking walks in the cage. They're behavior varies greatly in terms of secrecy it would seem.
