12” exo terra cube, Theraphosa stirmi, the stump is filled with substrate. The tradescantia is growing well and coming up the stump. Hopefully the moss will take as well but I’m not terribly hopeful. So far they’re using the stump as intended however I was worried they would try and burrow from the top.

The moss should slowly establish on the wood, as long as it isn't on the coir it should be ok

Neopantopsalis pentheter setup V1, plant growth progress IMG_20230216_112726.jpg

Although currently it does not house Neopantopsalis pentheter and instead is being used for Equitius sp. Tamborine and Octobunus singularis

Terrarium made from aquarium box with jasmine, nerve plants, ivy, moss, begonias, honeysuckle, Chinese maple, and a few other plants. I'm planning it to be for two or three ghost mantises. Also planning to add cork bark.

New emergency tank setup

As I found his companion, Seggy, dead yesterday, I had to use the little bit of remaining milli mix I had left to put together my new floor plan for the tank way too early. But here is the new tank setup! I'm a little new to this so I apologize for anything bad. I'm going to be getting a heating pad and I spray the tank down once a day since that seems to keep the soil optimal.
I will be adding rocks to the bottom when I replace the soil next :> and far more soil as well to make him more comfy. He's always seemed to really like the little rock feature I made for him so I'm definitely happy about that! IMG_20230329_182631026.jpg

Arboreal - Bioactive

5 gallon housing an avicularia.
  • Most of the plants are in pots (buried under the substrate) & watered at different times to prevent there being too much humidity.
  • Springtails and Powdered Orange Isopods - have molted and made babies.
  • Web is between wood and the back. - Nice and shaded during the day.
  • Avic loves hanging out on the wood and roams around the top at night.
