Hi eight legged lovers, so i have a 18x18x18" exo Terra tank with a pamphobeteus sp platyomma in it, i understand they love hiding, the most she comes out is to her back legs...
I just feel this lovely glass tank is going to waste as a 'display' tank and its a complete waste of space for her.
What do you guys reckon if i swapped my P.Cambridgei and P.Platyomma?
My P.cambridgei is in a RUB that has the same floor space as my adult G.pulchra (Female) just a bit more height.
Let me know what you guys think as i like to hear what other T hobbyists have to say. IMG_20160923_143832.jpg IMG_20160923_143934.jpg IMG_20160923_143845.jpg

um, yes, do that right away. that exo tera is dangerous for terrestrials. there should never be that much height for any terrestrial set up. the gap between lid and substrate shouldnt be more than 1.5x the spiders leg span for terrestrials.

Yes switch them. The P. cam will apreciate the extra height and put it to good use. The Pampho being a terrestrial would be best off in the container tub with deep sub.

IMO, terrestrial Ts should not be housed in those Exo Terra enclosures.

It will look a much nicer display as arboreal setup :)

Too much height for a terrestrial species. Swap enclosures as soon as possible.
