I can't find recent enclosure size standards for Ts anywhere. What are some recommendations for each genus/species? Answer in gallons, please

Enclosure sizes vary and change with life stages. There is no absolute standard size for all tarantulas in gallons. We have dwarfs and semi dwarfs, and terrestrials, and large terrestrials, then smaller and larger fossorials, then larger amd smaller and even smaller arboreals. All with different max sizes and different size enclosures as they grow.

can you be more specific on what exactly you want to know?

I was asking about enclosure sizes for some of the more common (adult) tarantulas

Okay so which species exactly, there’s a lot of common adults?

here look through some of this this will likely answer some of your questions. threadhttps://arachnoboards.com/threads/enclosure-terrarium-pictures.48951/
That was helpful. The enclosure sizes i was interested in were:
Grammostola rosea/porteri
Grammostola pulchripes
G. pulchra
Lp
Gbb
Brachypelma sp.
A. geniculata
Aphonopelma sp.
A. avicularia
Psalmopoeus sp.
Caribena versicolor
Poecilotheria sp.
H maculata
Nhandu sp.
Theraphosa blondi
etc.

If it helps, there is formula for terrestrial tarantula enclosures. It is 3 times the legspan long by 2 times the leg span wide. The distance from the top of the substrate to the top of the enclosure should be no more than 1.5 times the leg span. I don't believe there is a formula for arboreals.

There are no standards

There’s hundreds of species- you won’t get that list at all!! You’re crazy if you expect someone to type that all out.

Cage size varies by size of T, and whether it is fossorial, terrestrial or arboreal.

Okay so that is a highly variable list, just to give you an example you have 4 different size arboreals Avicularia, Psalmopoeus, and Poecilotheria, yea these are all arboreals but there are sir ranges between the genera and size differences between MM and MF and between species in a single genera. Just as an example Some arboreal may do okay in something sized like the Exoterra Nano tall 8x8x12 and other may need the Exo mini tall 12x12x18.

and there is always a little bit of personal preference to mature adult enclosures size. Some newer people put NW terrestrials in things like 20gal tanks, where I understand they don’t necessarily need as much room and don’t over size enclosures.

what I think you need to do is hop on into media, the sub terrarium and vivarrium and the advanced search function and look through and read threads

I have broken your list down to similar species and needs L x W x H
These are just generalizations for mature adults

REALLY BIG 89 x 48 x 18
Theraphosa blondi
Lp

BIG 46x 30 x 18
Grammostola pulchripes
G. pulchra
A. geniculata
Nhandu sp.

MED 36 x 20 x 16
Grammostola rosea/porteri
Gbb
Brachypelma sp.
Aphonopelma sp.

Arboreal 30 x 30 x 46
A. avicularia ( can go a bit smaller)
Psalmopoeus sp.

I'm about 90% sure those are in centimeters.

The largest one would be 36 in x 20 in x 8 in.

Where are you getting these numbers from you are not honestly suggesting someone should have enclosures that are 2in shy of 4ft either long or tall.......

an arboreal does not need something 2 1/2 feet wide and deep and almost 4ft tall??

excuse me what??? 89inches........?
He's in Europe - those are in cm. I am giving him/her sizes they understand
Arboreal
30 x 30 x 46 (cm) is 12" x 12" x 18"

the REALLY Big (for T blonde, T stirmi, LP) The one with 89
35 x 18 x 7, (@Schiem was pretty close)

Yeah, I'm American but because of my occupation I'm pretty versed in both.
Peace
