Hello all,
I'm thinking about pairing my big female P. vittata in the near future. As I patiently keep my eyes open for eligible bachelors to appear on the market, I'm thinking about a suitable enclosure size for pairing. I figure if I need to rehouse her into something larger, better to do that sooner rather than later so she has time to acclimate and get comfy before the dating game begins
She is about 7 inches DLS, and currently living in a 10 gallon vertical aquarium that is 20"H x 10"W x 12"D. I find this to be a good size for her to live in normally. But is this enough room for a pairing?
