Rookie here - I think you have two females, but take my opinion with a large grain of salt.

This is potentially good news, because I am pretty sure this one is a male (below), but.. would anyone try to pair them with this much of a size disparity (picture 2)?

A mature Male will do the job. The males will pretty much always be a bit smaller. They’re more long and slender than females

I’d personally let the female molt a few more times she still looks young looking at the tail.

I just noticed the colour of the telson in that pic of the two side by side... I agree with Lewis Catlin! The small scorpion is a juvenile and the other one is an adult.
