Hello!
I recently got two emperor scorpions, and I find that one is always sitting on the other. One was an immediate digger and created a few deep hide holes under the hides provided (one is a premade mini cave and one is a large stick with rocks carefully placed on it and tested for stability). I find that the non-digger likes to sit on top of the digger all day. They come out at night, the non-digger is certainly more adventurous. They came from the same tank at the pet store, and are at least 4 months old, although I believe they are older than that. They are maybe 3-4 inches long. The digger is slightly smaller but not by much. They are both currently thought to be female.
Tldr; why does one scorpion sit on the other?
