Emp babies on mama for too long?

Back in January I purchased a wild-caught female emperor scorpion under the impression that she was gravid. After a few months she gave birth to about 12 babies. I have had her in a sterilite bin with 4 inches of coconut fiber and a hide on one side. She excavated under the hide and has a comfy burrow directly in front of the heat lamp (she's in a tote on my roach rack, which I heat with a 150 watt red light). I read online that the babies take about 7-10 days before leaving their mom's back. Well, it has been two and a half weeks and the babies have all shed, and they are still on their mom. Today while cleaning I noticed a few adventurous ones crawling around underneath mama. Should I just leave them be or should I remove them from her? My concern is that they will not be able to find anything to eat; although I have a cleanup crew of small springtails and a few dwarf white isopods in the container, I don't think they will be enough for the babies.
What do ya'll think?

Personally I would just leave them and feed them there until they all come (mostly at least) off. It should be soon if some are coming down. Like within a couple of days soon. But they know when. If I remember correctly, I read here or somewhere that P. imperator slings stay around mom longer than many other species.

When I was breeding P imps i noticed that it only took around 7 to 12 days to moult to 2nd instar, but the babies themselves would stay close to the mother for the better part of 3 weeks after they moulted. I have witnessed this with several broods, especially if the mother had a large burrow. Seems the young were reluctant to leave until the mother stopped ambushing crickets and dragging them into the burrow. once she started actively hunting the babies were basically forced to do the same.

I've actually seen the mother crush up crickets and drop them for the babies to eat. In my own experience, this happens a couple of times, and then the babies diperse on their own. That's when mom should be separated from the babies(or vice-versa). In short, the babies will do their own thing when it's time(unless you have a mom that likes the taste of babies, in which case, separate imediately). Hope this helps.

NEVER remove babies from the mothers back, let them take their time..

And you didn't really expect your young to come off mommy just because you read on internet somewhere that they should between 7-10 days???:D Nature takes it's time and does not care people write on internet....It can take a while longer, but not much, because some of them are already walking around to explore, the rest will soon follow, most of the time within a couple of days.....just wait and see...
