Eggs are just fine!

Instead of starting my own thread I'll leach off this one.. haha.

Here's what happened.

After 21 days, I became somewhat paranoid of the mother eating the sac, so I pulled it early, regrettably. I carefully opened the sac and emptied the eggs into a hammock (see article). There they stayed. They were cream colored, which from what I've read, is a good sign. Just this evening they molted into eggs with legs. I couldn't be happier!

In conclusion, never go back just one person's opinion. If I had done that, I would have thrown the eggs out. Instead, I read and asked friends and breeders. To those who gave me sound advice, Thanks!

i do u know whear i chould find flightless fruit flies??
at petco thay do have fruitflies, but thay have wings.. how offten whould u feed them too??
Flightless fruit flies are supposed to have wings....they are genetically altered so that the flight muscles don't work right so they can't fly. The ones at petco are flightless. The cultures tend to only revert back to flighted if a wild FF got into the culture and contaminated it with it's intact flighted genes.
