I've got a real easy way to transfer springtails from one Habitat to another, I put a piece of Broken flowerpot in my G. rosea's waterdish for any feeder bugs that might fall in to climb out on. I have a huge colony of springtails under the dish and wanted to put some as cleaners into other jars/tanks ect. and when I looked into the dish the pice of Terra cotta was crawling with Springtails...I just picked it up and put it into the other habitat and take it out when I don't see any on it anymore..repeat as wanted. Hope that might be helpful to somebody:cool:

If you have springtails in your G. rosea enclosure, then you have it too moist. They prefer things dry.

It is dry, mostly..they live under the waterdish which has a wet area under it.
