very cool grasshopper, they'll give ya hell of pinch/kick when they are adults with those back legs

Wow. I think grasshoppers are some of the most beautiful insects. I've been trying to find some local grasshoppers to keep. If anyone knows some good spots for grasshopper hunting in CA please let me know.

Beautiful pictures! Is that the morph that stays black as adults or the morph that turns green/yellow? The ones here in FL are black as nymphs and turn green/yellow as adults with black and red markings!

By the way...has anybody checked my classifides adds? (hint hint)

yeah, and they don't really jump as much either,they kinda just walk around saying"heh yeah i'm bad"
